Sometimes the simplest truths can be the hardest to see. When you finally do see them, it's like waking up from a long and deep sleep. One of the hardest things to come to terms with is that you are responsible for your own happiness. Right here, right now, you can decide to love and embrace your world, your body, your life. Even if you desperately want to make some changes, the biggest change is the decision in the mind that chooses to take your power back. If you wait for one day when things are perfect before you're able to let yourself be happy, chances are that day will never come. Or when it comes you'll be on to the next thing. If you need to tick off every box in a long list of things to do so that you can somehow earn the right to be happy, you mat always be running after the next box to check. It's up to you to practice the art of happiness. No one can take away what blooms in your heart. And when you get really happy, all of life just flows and you're so much closer to all your dreams coming true. Because really, why do you what anything except because you believe it will bring you happiness. So if you can experience happiness right now, with this body and this mind and this life, exactly as it is right, maybe then you'll see just how blessed and lucky you are to be exactly who you are, doing exactly what you need to be doing.
