(Scroll to the end for the behind the scenes videos) Mines probably the one where you can see the guy’s hand holding me by the ankle so I don’t flow over the edge of The Devil’s Pool and down Victoria Falls… Nothing about this seemed or looked safe, but when I was at the edge it didn’t feel too scary. Well besides the little fish that kept trying to eat my feet and made me jump while sitting at the edge… Anyway check out the video before this and at the end of this carousel to see the behind the scenes of how these photos are actually taken! Another shout out to the Devil’s Pool guides for making it happen! I showed how they hold you by the ankles while another takes your photos, and also where they have you wait (it’s cold!) while each person goes, then finally our group photo…where no one is holding onto us, yet I still felt comfortable enough to lean back so the camera could see over the ledge….looking at that video now though is not comfortable 😱 Prob won’t repeat this one again with a group 😂😂 Important disclaimer: do not attempt this on your own at any waterfall!! Devil’s Pool has been offering this tour for many years and they know what they’re doing but it’s still not fully safe here either as there are no ropes or harnesses attached to you.. 😬 (idk why I offer these things on my group trips…it was terrifying to watch other people do it!!)
