After a few hours of sleep in my own bed, a two hour acupuncture session, an hour at the beach, I am feeling so much better. During an endless travel which included a cancelled flight, last minute rerouting and a three hour air traffic control delay, I made it home at 2:30 am! The only thing that kept me sane was reading the thousands of messages from you ? Seriously knowing that you are here for me has made all the difference. I don’t have a lot of close friends who just listen to me when I’m down and give me the space to vent, so yesterday each and every one of you was my best friend. Thank you. You made the world of difference in my life. I am still being flooded with comments, DMs and emails and I’m taking all of your love and support straight to heart ? _ Maybe I’ve just been really busy and I was feeling worn out? While I normally don’t get phased by travel, this Fall I decided to spend one day in each city to spread the message about my new Yogi Assignment book. I was on a book tour, which is something I’ve always dreamed of doing, and it was grueling. It was amazing to sign hundred (maybe thousands?) of books. I’m still signing books everywhere I go but I’m back to “regular” travel now. I’ll be in Mexico, Boston, LA, Tampa and Orlando this year. And Houston, Seattle, Pittsburgh and Fiji to start next year! Come practice ? _ Maybe I was extra sensitive because it’s that time of the month? Maybe I just needed a good nights sleep and a little rest? Or maybe I just needed a friend? Maybe all of the above? _ Today begins the next yoga challenge I’m hosting with my friend @markrobberds Day 1 #AshtangaYogaBeyond is Sirsasana, Headstand.
