When the only footprints in the sand are yours...

It got me thinking. We all have to leave a footprint, in the sand, on the Earth, in the lives of people around us. We get to choose what type of footprint that is, for better or worse. Sometimes there’s a person who has a big impact in your life or in the world, for better or worse. Other people prefer to tread lightly, leaving my trace of their presence yet still contributing in quiet ways. As for me, in some ways I want to leave a big footprint in the world. I want everyone on the planet to practice yoga and find the spiritual path because I believe it can make the world a more peaceful place. But I always want to walk gently, so that I can give space to others around me, so as not to harm it to harm as little as possible.
