I love coconuts. But, this mammoth coconut is just an average size one here. I’m I love. It may true love, the love of a lifetime and I may never find another one just like it. Someone commented that I had posted a pic with a plastic straw in my stories with a coconut. It was my first one off the airplane and I wasn’t of sound mind yet. The coconut guy just brought it over already prepared and I had the choice of saying no straw and then watching him throw it out anyway or just using it. Either way, I’m sorry. I should’ve been thinking more and told him no straw from the beginning. Nothing wrong with straws, it’s the plastic that’s a problem. The plastic in plastic straws is not recyclable or easily biodegradable. It’s just waste. I don’t want to be promoting plastic straws when it’s predicted that by 2050 plastic will outweigh fish in the ocean. We can each do our part. No matter how small it makes a difference.
