People ask me all the time if I lift weights. I lift coconuts. Does that count?

Seriously, holding your arms or an object of any type above your head is a great way to work on handstand alignment and strength. Working the shoulders and elbow alignment by lifting an object (it could be a yoga block) above your head decreases the amount of weight bearing on your wrists and ease the burden there. This allows you to train with more attention to detail and build muscle memory that pays off in handstands.
