I’m in love with the Midwest summer. This morning I went to a farmers market and tried the most amazing blueberries ever while also being totally enamored with the Amish farmers. It was hard not to think of the Handmaid’s Tale seeing the bonnets. Being here also makes me think of where my Dad was from in Ohio. It’s not the same, but the slow, kind respectful manner people have here reminds me of him.
