Your voice, your authentic voice, is your most prized asset. You are cherished and special and no one can do what you’ve been sent here to do. I’ve sold myself short one too many times and I’m over it. If there is one thing I could go back and tell my younger self, it’s this—you get to choose who you’re associated with. Whether it’s a romantic interest, a friend, a company, a job or anything, it’s your choice. You decide who to share your beautiful presence with. If someone doesn’t align with your values, do not be enamored by their false promises. If something doesn’t feel right, like if you get one bit of a sleazy, harsh, abusive vibe, then just walk away. You are precious, intelligent, gorgeous and full of love and light. You don’t need a spiel, an act, a performance. You just need to be yourself and believe that you’re worth it all. You’re valuable, you’re not replaceable. Don’t carry anyone or any company on your back that won’t have your back when you need them. Stand your ground and don’t settle. Surrender to God what you cannot do yourself, but never give up. Never ever give up. Even if it takes every ounce of strength, determination, faith, grace and grit, you can do it, you will do it. You are so much stronger than you know. Wake up, rise up, speak up and let your voice be heard.
