We had a lovely dinner in a restaurant Três Pipos (three wine barrels) located in the city of Tondela, about 15 minutes from our village. It's been there for as long as I can remember. My parents first took me in the 1980s. Our first snack was "pataniscas”—salted cod mixed with egg, a little flour, and parsley, then formed into fritters and deep fried. They were served room temp, and we devoured them like popcorn! #Portugal #Tondela #cod #fritters #pataniscas
