The sacred space of practice is an inner path of awakening. By opening a door to the direct experience of the infinite you can directly experience a power so much greater than yourself. In the presence of this expansive energy your life changes, your body shifts and you become the person you have always actually been. Yoga is an uncovering of our divine spark, a revealing of the truth of the inner being. It is not an escape, but it is a path of liberation. I never ever thought I'd be even close to straightening my back leg in this pose. It's still not totally there but the changes in my body and mind have only been possible by learning how to truly and totally surrender. I was never a dancer or a gymnast so to watch my body respond to the subtle changes of spiritual experience is nothing short of miraculous. Grace is a receiving, yoga is perhaps most effective at preparing your heart and mind for the transformational moment of release so that you can say yes, jump in and fly with wings of faith. #practiceyogachangeyourworld #onebreathatatime Photo by @courtney_morra
