A: Well we lucked out a bit in that we won the Super Bowl a few months after joining Instagram. That helped attract quite a few followers to our new account at the time! Since then, we’ve learned a lot and refined our strategy. We use fan-curated content from Instagram on our other social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) to encourage fans to upload their own shots on Instagram. We also use a curation tool on gamedays in-bowl so that when fans upload a photo using #PlayLikeARaven, their photo is automatically pulled into the RavensVision boards. We also do giveaways on our Instagram account, the @ravens account will like fan photos and we interact through the comments section. It’s important for us to make social a conversation, not just push static messaging across the platform. We want people to feel involved. ________________________________________Q: When posting a media, what is your Like/Comment threshold that makes it acceptable? A: We don’t have any sort of limit in regards to engagement that makes things acceptable for our account. We just try to put out content that we are proud of, that furthers the goals of our brand and tells the story of our team. While we try to remember what types of content perform well, we don’t often think about how many likes or comments a piece of media will get before posting it.
