We periodically run contests where we ask people to follow us to enter. 2. We will also run contests where we ask people to post content using our hashtags and username (like our Fifty/Fifty contests), which helps spread the word further among our followers’ followers. 3. We also partner with other brands on products which will usually help expose us to their customer base (who may not be familiar with us) 4. We make sure press has our account info so if they post on a story, they can tag us. 5. We are actively engaged with a number of our retail accounts who we will feature to our followers and they will feature us back to theirs. ________________________________________Q: What is the philosophy of your Instagram account? A: We always try to keep our Instagram feed (and, really, everything we do) non-spammy. Despite us being a company that sells a product, our posts should never feel like an ad. We just want it to be a visual representation of who we are as individuals and as a brand. And the most we can hope for is that it resonates with people. ________________________________________ Q: When posting a media, what is your Like/Comment threshold that makes it acceptable? A: If an image receives fewer than 500-600 likes, we view it as somehow flawed. Either it was posted at the wrong time, or it was the wrong photo, or both. We are less picky about the number of comments as we generally avoid comment fishing. If people have something to say, we love to hear it.
