In Cuba, we live our entire lives that way.“ . Fabían’s signature style is a “self portrait” of him wearing a mask, which he says refers to him hiding from society. And also his signature “2+2=5”, which in short means that nothing makes sense.  . Each of his pieces convey powerful messages, from how the gov treats them, to world politics, to how he feels about a break up! It’s a risky yet effective way to voice how he feels while living under a gov that suppresses the people’s opinions by law!  . You’ll hear more about him as soon as I get strong enough wifi to upload the docu...which I can’t complain about considering their lack of connectivity! . Also want to shout out @yaas_valdes for these amazing photos! I rarely do photoshoots like this, especially fully facing the camera, but he really knew what he was doing! And of course, @devonruizzz for doing my makeup, styling, and face-pose-coaching 😂💖 . While filming my documentary in Havana about the young artists/entrepreneurs/influencers/revolutionaries, I quickly realized they all said one thing in common about living in Cuba; it’s hard because of the lack of supplies.
