That’s not to say that everything a person does is ok. It’s certainly not. But if you believe that all of life is miraculous and infused with divinity, then it has to be just that—ALL of life, not only the parts that you like or find pleasing. _ Some people hear this and assume it means that anger isn’t ok. That would be a flawed interpretation. Anger is as ok as joy. Both are necessary feelings in the human emotional spectrum. And you can grow from both. And you can get hurt from both. Spiritual wisdom isn’t about creating lists of dos and don’ts or making list of chosen ones. Spiritual wisdom is skillful action and a heart big enough to contain apparent opposites. _ We practice not just to put the leg behind the head.
