There is no judgement awaiting you on the other side with fire and brimstone. If you step out of alignment with universal laws there isn’t a punitive deity seeking to condemn you. God, Source, Divinity, Spirit, Christ—whatever word speaks to you about the holy space of the Eternal—is all-loving, omnipresent, forgiving, kind and always on your side. To say God is love in one breath and then perpetuate the notion that God’s role is to judge and define who is worthy in the next is a contradiction. _ What if heaven and hell is here and now? You decide whether it’s “Thy Kingdom come, on Earth as it is Heaven” or the tortuous realms of hell. Cause and effect are in play in THIS life, not only some delayed realm of the hereafter. How you live matters, not because of some cosmic report card, but because it makes an impact on the quality of your life right now. Live in love and all of life is a miracle unfolding with beauty and awe. Live in fear, outside of love and all of life is terrifying and overwhelming. _ What, you may say, about suffering? Well, I’d suggest to you that the spark of the Spirit can be found at the depth of great joy AND great sorrow, that our quest is to dig deeper and grow our hearts bigger until we can contain the seemingly opposite forces of pleasure and pain, spirit and incarnation, agony and ecstasy within ourselves. _ The spiritual path beckons us seekers to become that which we seek. Outside of logic we can remember the future.
