I have told the story of victimhood to myself, believing that the world had its cards stacked against me. I tried to make up for it by working so hard and earning my worth. But it all came tumbling down (more about that one day). _ Something shifted. I woke up to a timeless truth and a broken heart, a spirit filled with light and a body in need of rest. I saw wisdom and sat with bliss. Everything was (and is) meaningless, empty, purposeless. And yet, everything was (and is) perfect, harmonious, blessed, full, resplendent and just so. _ I am not here to be the best. I am not here to earn my worth. I am not here to check off the boxes of achievement or good personhood. I am not here to handstand (but it is fun). I am not here to fit into any boxes or be bound by any chains. I am not here to satisfy you or even myself. _ I am here, like you, to awaken. I am, like you, a promise of the full bloom of human consciousness. I am, like you, alive in the suchness of being. I am, like you, undefinable, eternal, unbounded, beyond, infinitely complex and utterly simple, totally comprehensible and forever a mystery. _ I am that I am. You are that you are. We are that we are. _ On the path of awakening that is no path at all, but a revelation, a devotion, a prayer said in the whispers of the soul, a spontaneous worship song of the heart. _ You can’t rush any more than I can. You can only go at the fastest pace that you can go. You can’t rush your process any more can you can rush the opening of a flower.
