Let me tell you, I agree: enough already. No more silence. No more blocking. No more deleting. No more fake news and disinformation. No more hiding. No more belligerence and bullying. No more running away and escapism.

Never in a million years did I think I’d be here three weeks later beating the same drum of injustice. If I could sprinkle some pixie dust on it, wave a magic wand and make everyone happy, I would. But instead here I am, feeling exhausted, frustrated, silenced, blocked, deleted and threatened. I’m just one person. I may have a strong voice, but it feels lonely out here screaming out about the unethical actions of a huge corporation. I have 1.1 million people here listening. The Alo empire has close to 20 million people under their influence and they have systematically pressed mute and ignored every voice of even the most reasonable dissent. I’m sorry if you’re tired of hearing about. I am too! I’m tired of living in a world where I get threatening legal letters, subpoenas are handed out like prizes and former students and friends stab me in the back with heartbreaking actions that I never imagined possible.

Many people are in fact listening. The flood of positive messages I get each day far outweighs the bad. You give me hope that we are starting to wake up and become more conscious creators of the yoga community. You give me hope that WE can be the change we want in our world. Keep speaking. Repeat it like a broken record. Do your work and then surrender the fruits of your labor to a Higher Power. Never waiver in faith or strength. I can’t control the outcome, all I can do is show up and give all my heart and all my soul. Whether it’s a handstand or standing up to a billion dollar corporation, I believe it’s about being strong enough to fight the good fight and never give up.
