Today @Instagram froze my account @キノ・マクレガ― for a few hours. At first I thought I was crazy but then I heard that @nolatrees and @inversionjunkie were also in the same boat. I could not post to Stories, go live, comment or do a main post. I could send DMs and like other people’s posts. Instagram finally sent me a message saying I was reported for an unmarked brand relationship and that I was in violation of their ad guidelines. The questionable post was about the yoga challenge hosted with the business that I own and run @omstarsofficial Well, I added the tag and it says the violation has been resolved. I don’t know if Dana and others were similarly reported today.

I can’t help but feel that we are being punished for an exercise of free speech; censored by Instagram and the Mark Zuckerburgempire! The hashtags encouraging people to support Dana Falsetti - #WhatAboutDana #LetDanaGo – also disappeared from Instagram for me. It makes me wonder—does @ALO Yoga have a back channel to IG? Is it coincidence that just as we begin to make an impact, the loudest voices amongst us get shut down?

Now the issues at stake are even bigger than one lawsuit and corporate bullying. It’s about free speech and the right for an average citizen to stand up to a large corporation. This fight has the power to define us as a community, for better or worse.
