He makes me laugh when no one else can. He’s my hero in big and small ways more than he’ll every know. Just that he’s next to me makes everything ok.

While I love that we share the practice, we rarely practice together. Honestly he talks too much when it’s just the two of us on the yoga mat and I can’t focus or resist the urge to chat. But it means the world to me that we share the ethical foundation of the yogi life.

We have had our ups and downs, gone through difficult periods where we loved eachother but didn’t love the way we treated eachother. Love is an action verb, where you get to walk off into the sunset together but you also wake up the next day and also have to make the bed (or not). Every moment spent is love is a blessing to be cherished, celebrated and sent to the sacred space of the heart. Love is healing.
