Day 29 #basicyogamix is Pinchamayurasana. Would you believe this pose took me nearly two years to find my balance? It was like I was totally blocked and I would just topple over every day. I remember getting so mad at myself and blaming my body shape. But there was nothing wrong with my body, I just needed time and practice to build strength and balance. Getting mad or frustrated with yourself only makes the journey to the pose less enjoyable. And if you don't enjoy the journey, then even if you get the pose it might leave you feeling empty. Try cultivating an attitude of equanimity and let go of any need to get there in any particular time. Each asana has its time. Just show up on your mat, keep the faith and practice everyday. All is coming.
