On the program for me today: Primary Series. So many people come to Mysore with the expectation to do advanced poses, but that isn't what the journey here is about. Mysore is about surrendering to the practice and building a relationship with yourself, the practice and your teacher. Come with no expectation and you will be in the best possible space. Every new student starts off with at least one week (sometimes even one full month) of primary series. And returning students like me always start off with a few days of Primary Series on each trip. The experience here is beyond what words can describe, there is a reverence and devotion that is cultivated by surrendering to a power bigger and grander than yourself each time you get on your mat. #practiceandalliscoming #onebreathatatime
