Do you want to be happy? If so, what are you willing to do to make your dream true?

So many people say they want to be happy but they’re unwilling to make their own happiness a priority. There’s always an excuse, or some reason, usually an external circumstance or annoying person who seems to steal happiness away. But, if your happiness is your priority then you’ll work for it, which means working with your mind and thoughts and body to hold the vibration of happiness regardless of what’s happening around.

Some people think they can’t be happy and successful at the same time, as though being stressed out, angry, or some other emotion is the key to getting it right. It might be, if you want more of that emotion in your life. But if what you want is to be happy, then you can choose to craft a path towards happiness from where you are right now. So do? Do you choose happiness?

I think you can see by my smile in this photo that I’m choosing happiness. You have no idea the kind of obstacles and hurdles that have jumped in front of my path today (flight cancellations, power outage, shower malfunction, excess baggage fees, internet trolls and that’s just the tip of the iceberg). And yet I am choosing happiness because the domain of my mind, my emotions and my reactions is just that—mine. And I will do my best to let no obstacle bring me down. Why add misery to suffering when you can keep a good attitude and enjoy the journey of life?
