Fourteen years ago, this project was created to try to get the world to care about the extinction crisis and inspire people around the globe to take action to save wildlife. A lot has changed since the project began - some species have seen their numbers rise for the first time in decades, many have been discovered and described by scientists for the first time, while others, sadly, have been lost forever. The world around us is constantly changing - a fact that is felt by each of us now more than ever as the current pandemic continues to alter our behaviors and the ways in which we interact with the world around us. We know things are tough right now, and it can be hard to feel like you’re making a difference in the world when you’re stuck in isolation, so today, we’re asking you to share both your challenges and successes when it comes to taking action to save wildlife in the comments section below. Throughout the year, we will continue to share tips and tricks on how you can save species from the comfort of your own home, and do our best to answer all of your saving-wildlife questions.
