Both my Mom and I have gotten Danish rain jackets!

I don’t have anything interesting to say today. It’s just me enjoying life because hey if it wasn’t for the rain there wouldn’t be the chance for any rainbows.

Today my Mom was saying to Tim how she is still in awe at how things like texts and the Internet function. She said that she’s always amazed that when she clicks send on her texts that we get them anywhere in the world. Then Tim chimed in and said, yeah and if you think about it electricity runs through all the fixtures and brings light in our homes. And I was so touched by the innocence of their appreciation.

When was the last time you stopped to give thanks for all the amazing things that make our lives function? Here we are connected via an App on a phone that didn’t even exist 12 years ago. We are a community of like-minded yogis and we share values and a heart space. Some of you are new, and some of you have been with me since the beginning. But either way, I am grateful for you and for this space of connection. There have been times when things have gotten heated and even dramatic, but you haven’t left me, you’ve been here with me each step of the way.

There is kindness, love and respect here and I thank you.

Today it’s my intention to be grateful for everything, for the big and the small, for you for reading this, for my phone and internet connection, for my new rain jacket, for the rain and the rainbows, the clouds, the cozy bed, the soft light, the flowers, all the yummy vegan food we’ve eaten today, having my Mom here in Denmark, Tim for loving me all these years, yoga because it’s my life, for all my students, for everyone who has read my books, for my publisher who keeps believing in me to write more books, for everyone that is a part of our @omstarsofficial team (I seriously love you all so much), for everyone @miamilifecenter Thank you. Thank you. I’m so thankful for my teachers, who have taught me strength and humility. And thanks to God because without the Grace of true forgiveness the seed of love would wither up under the bitterness of life.
