Peace is always an option. You always have a choice about how to live your life. It’s your life. You get to write the story, play the part and own it. If you don’t you’ll be outside of yourself, telling the story of why the world is a big, bad ugly place and how everyone is out to get you. Victimhood is a powerful because it allows you to blame others for your current state of mind. Empowerment is liberating because you claim responsibility for your actions. Forgiveness allows you to heal from the hurt and wounds of the last and breaks the chains of anger and resentment. Only when you realize that you’re the one who has the power to make a change will you be strong enough to do the work and set yourself free. Happiness is the gift that you get when you step up to the plate of life with an open heart and full presence. Peace is state of being that you live in when you’re comfortable in your own skin and you know exactly who you are.
