The beach is magic for me. Put me on the sand next to the waves and I'm happy. Grateful. The world can just melt away. Problems and their infinite complexity evaporate. Simplicity returns and regains prominence. The tide rolls in and out like the breath of the Earth and I feel like a small piece in a huge cosmic plan. At the beach I get filled with a warm fuzzy feeling that everything is going to be ok. No matter what happens there is always the purity of nature and I am so filled with awe by the vastness and beauty of our deep oceans, our infinite shores and really our whole planet. It's here for now, while the delicate balance of it all still lasts, while we still have time to take care of it. Life is good for us. Let's show our gratitude by leaving the world in a better place than when we got it as a gift from past generations. ?
