Day 23 #BeStrongin2015 is Eka Pada Koundinyasana. This floating arm balance is a combination of strength and flexibility. If you’re naturally flexible avoid resting in your split, instead use your core to lift the body with its own strength. Pivot the shoulders only so far forward as necessary to lift up, avoid dumping weight into the corners of your shoulders. There is a slight twist and spinal arch in the full pose, but be sure to balance that with core strength.
