Day 8 #healinghearts Yoga Shoulder Stretch/Chinstand Prep. Start off on your hands and knees, then reach the chin towards the ground as you extend the arms. Keep pitching your body weight forward while pressing the armpits towards the ground, lifting the hips and sucking the lower belly in. Feeling space through the shoulders and chest in the prep allows you to breathe easier in postures like Viparita Shalabhasana. Today I am grateful for the chance to share my passion for Ashtanga Yoga with so many inspired yogis here in Toronto this weekend. Check @beachyogagirl for another option.
