WHY A COOL DOWN MATTERS
Taking 10 minutes after you work out to cool down can help to improve your range of motion and reduce your heart rate after an intense workout. Ensuring you take time to stretch after a workout can also be important because it can aid in muscle recovery and reduce muscle cramps or stiffness post-workout. I recommend that you do a cool down after every single one of your challenge workouts! This cool down routine is quick and easy to do - you just need a mat or towel and you're ready! This routine will target your full body and I still use it even if I am just training my upper or lower body because it gives me an opportunity to stretch all over. I always feel SO much better afterwards!

✅ Wide Mountain Climber & Rotation - 40 secs (20 secs each side)
✅ Lateral Rock - 40 secs (20 secs each side)
✅ Abs to Downward Dog - 40 secs
✅ Seated Hamstring (Hurdler) - 40 secs (20 secs each side)
✅ Glutes (Pigeon) - 40 secs (20 secs each side)

Put on a relaxing playlist to bring yourself down from a high-intensity workout and aim to complete 2 laps!
