EATING AT RESTAURANTS DURING THE SWEAT CHALLENGE
I know that some people find it easier to prepare their own food and eat at home when they are really focussing on their health and fitness. But if you want to go out for dinner and socialise with friends during the Sweat Challenge, that is TOTALLY okay! You don’t have to limit or restrict yourself in order to live a healthy lifestyle.

So many women message me and ask for advice on what to eat at restaurants during the Sweat Challenge. It is definitely possible to maintain a healthy, balanced diet while still having fun and socialising. If you are looking for tips, here are some of mine:

👉 Order an extra side salad. No matter what I choose for my main meal, I will usually always add a side salad to make sure I’m eating a good amount of vegetables and my meal is balanced.

👉 Share two meals with a friend or family member. My sister and I usually share two meals between us, it means we are getting more variety and can try more of the menu.

👉 Go prepared. Look up the menu before you go to the restaurant and choose a healthy and balanced meal you’ll enjoy. You’re more likely to choose a healthier option before rather than in the moment.

👉 If you choose to order something that you wouldn't usually eat, or you eat too much, that’s OKAY. One meal isn’t going to ruin your progress, but stressing about it WILL. Simply resume your normal routine the next day and just focus on eating healthy and nourishing foods, including lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Ladies, I don’t want you to miss out on social events or going to restaurants during the Sweat Challenge, because that is not what a health and fitness journey is about at all. This challenge is about creating long-lasting healthy habits that you can keep for life. For me, eating delicious food and spending time with family is a BIG part of life and it’s important while living a balanced lifestyle! 😍
