Ladies, have any of you set a goal for the Sweat Challenge to improve your form and exercise technique? 💪⁣

What I absolutely LOVE about being a personal trainer is being able to educate my clients and the #BBGcommunity on how to become more confident and informed with their workouts. A big part of this is knowing about correct vs incorrect technique when doing an exercise - it can have a HUGE impact on your workouts and overall results. Even if this isn’t one of your main goals for the challenge, it’s always important to have correct form to reduce the risk of injury, and to get the most out of your training.

Here are some tips for the most common exercises that you’ll find in the Sweat Challenge that are all very simple to correct and improve with practice:

CRUNCHES
✅ Lift through your core
✅ Keep elbows wide
✅ Slow it down

RUSSIAN TWIST
✅ Keep neck long and in line with spine
✅ Twist through your obliques
✅ Slow it down

DONKEY KICK
✅ Keep spine straight
✅ Kick at hip height
✅ Hands placed on the floor in line with shoulders
✅ Slow it down

SINGLE-LEG GLUTE BRIDGE
✅ Feet flat on the floor
✅ Squeeze your glutes
✅ Push through your heels
✅ Slow it down

BURPEE
✅ Keep core engaged
✅ Keep spine straight and bend through knees and hips
✅ Maintain soft knees
✅ Break down each movement to perfect your technique
