(If you have never seen the movie ET now you have something to do tonight) I CRIED my eyes out because I was SO scared I was going to have to actually ride a bike on the ET ride and I didn’t want to fall or get left behind. 😂😂 my parents spent soooo much time that day telling me how great I had been doing practicing at home and I would be able to do it - they assured me I had nothing to be afraid of. Long story short they were right - I didn’t even have to ride a bike on the ET ride at Universal Studios BUT when I got home I had so much more confidence getting on my bike. We don’t realize how words of encouragement from others can positively affect us - so why don’t we spend more time giving more encouragement to ourselves. We also dont realize how scary situations prepare us to become great.
