I think it's time I share this with you all. I am still in awe looking at this. Look at my arms, my face, my butt (oh wait there isn't one). Oh, and might I add I thought I looked GOOD here and this is after I had GAINED weight. I was severely underweight and still not feeling thin enough. *cue body dysmorphia*. I was terrified of carbs. I was obsessed with numbers. I would count every single thing I ate and made sure to go to the gym and burn every calorie and then some. People who are overweight might look at me and assume I have no idea what it's like to be in their shoes. I'm here to tell you you are vastly mistaken. The feeling of depression, inadequacy and struggles are the same no matter if you're overweight, underweight or the perfect weight. It's a feeling of shame and desperation. A feeling of anger and guilt. I called myself an emotional and stress eater. I would binge after depriving myself. I suffered from acne. I didn't get my period. I let food take hold of my emotions. I let food control my life. It took me 4 years to get to where I'm at today and it's NOT because I was doing everything right when I decided to change. It's because I still went through havoc and up and downs and spirals when I was trying to change. I refuse to spit out restrictive diets and starve my clients just to get a severe transformation and make a quick buck. I refuse because I know what the future holds for those who fall victim to it. I've been there one too many times. I'm on a mission to change the mental state associated with the physical. I'm here to not only help you through a physical change but a mental one that can change your relationship with yourself. I'm here to tell you that you don't have to live this way anymore and you CAN get rid of the noise in your head distracting you from being your beautiful and healthy self. Break the chains. Learn how to listen to your body rather than automatically run to food. It's ok to want and strive for a healthier body that carries less (or more) weight but HOW you get there is what makes the difference. ?? - - #LearnMyWays and work with me on your own transformation.
