Juicing vs blending…what’s the difference and which one should you be doing?
Simply put, both are beneficial, but in different ways!

Juicing extracts the water and nutrients form the product and the liquid is separated from the pulp and fiber. You get a concentrated source of vitamins and minerals and due to the fiber being removed it gives the digestive system a break and allows your fruits and veggies to be absorbed much quicker! (This can cause blood sugar spikes) benefits: quicker boost of energy, can get more veggies in.

Smoothies, consist of the entire fruit or vegetable, including the skin and all of its fiber. When you blend up a smoothie you're helping to create a slower, even release of nutrients into the blood stream, which helps to avoid blood sugar swings and spikes. Benefits: can keep you full longer and holds the full profile of the veggie/fruit
