I'm supposed to be making this big happy thankful post, but the truth is today I just want to quit. I can't fake it, I'm all about honesty, authenticity, and transparency. So here's the bare naked truth. For every person that thinks I'm just a celebrity, there are more moments in my day when I'm a real person. The struggle, my struggle is real. I woke up today exhausted, overwhelmed, unsure of where the firm ground is, drowning in my list of things to do, feeling like I'm losing it, whatever it is. My best friend @beachyogagirl and I have two days left in our @omstarsofficial kickstarter campaign and I know I should be cheering about how awesome it all is, and, really, it is actually awesome and I am so thankful to every single backer. And yet today my mind is filled with 1,000 reasons why we won't succeed, why no one will watch our videos and why the whole idea of a yoga TV channel is going to be a bust. I feel like quitting, but the thing is, I'm not going to quit. I'm here, I'm working through my doubts and feelings of inadequacy, and holding on to tenuous threads of hope. Every person who takes the time to click the link in my bio and check out our kickstarter is an angel to me because you give me and my dream a chance, you believe in me. And today, I need you more than you know. Today is one of those days that I feel like no matter how much of my heart and soul I pour into my dreams they'll always be just beyond reach. It feels like there will always be some glitch, some mistake, some problem, some drama, some-thing that makes the whole house of cards come tumbling down. What do you see when you look at me? I'm a girl with a dream, with just enough faith to try it out, but today I need you to believe in me so I can believe in myself. And just as I was about to post this the sweetest woman came up to me and said, "I love you, don't stop being who you are." And that just made my heart smile, like a sign that yeah, it's all going to be ok. ?
