Growing up, I was never someone to style my hair. It was either in a ponytail or it was down. I hated going to get my hair cut because the stylists always used a diffuser to make it more curly than it is. I always wanted straight hair. I have naturally wavy hair and it took me years to love my natural waves. It might seem ridiculous but hair is a statement. It's says things about who you and how you feel. There are some people that think you need to just have your hair natural and nothing else, that anything else is just fake. But I think you just need to do your hair for yourself. If you want blonde, blue, red, black, mint green or purple hair, do it. If you want long, short, shaved, or whatever, do it. But do it for yourself, not to impress anyone else. It's all about how you feel, about being comfortable in your own skin, with your own hair. Not to mention yoga changes how much you can really primp your hair with a daily sweating. If you've got the most awesome hairstyle and you feel ugly inside it won't make any difference. ?
