Day 15 #basicyogamix is Sirsasana, Headstand. It took me almost a year of a consistent practice before I could balance in headstand. It wasn't naturally easy for me, but I learned how to be stronger by picking myself up each time I fell and trying again. Don't rush or force yourself. The key to success is consistent practice over a long time. No magic trick, just the simple, humble path of yoga as a personal practice. Just because it isn't easy for you doesn't mean you shouldn't try it. Just because you can't do it today doesn't mean you never will. The key to headstand is strong shoulders and a firm core. If you can't balance stay in the prepare for the full count and you'll be building up your endurance. Share whatever stage of the practice you're at. It's a journey, not a destination.
