Day 24 #JourneytoHandstand is Galavasana, the powerful arm balance named after the sage Galava. Lifting the back leg requires intense core strength that will translate into more control in your handstands. Keep the elbows tracking in alignment with the shoulders and lean forward as you send the hips back and up. Go slowly and try an easier version before you do it from headstand. And if it just isn't happening tonight then do a simple hip opener for the leg position or Bakasana for the lift. Check @beachyogagirl for an easier option.
