Day 21 #shesgotlegs is Eka Hasta Bhujasana, Elephant Trunk posture. In this series I do here it's the first part of the flow. In Ashtanga yoga this is used solely as a transition for putting your legs behind your head or arm balances. Holding it for a few extra breaths will help build the strength to support your back when you attempt to put the legs behind the head. To safely enter try first from seated and hook the leg as far up around your shoulder as possible. Pull the heads of your thigh bones into their sockets by engaging the pelvic floor.
