Day 18 #shesgotlegs is Baddha Konasana. To safely enter this external rotation posture keep the heels in close to the groin, close the knee joints completely and press the outer edges of the little toes into each other. The first version is with a straight spine, the second is concave with the lower belly drawn in to create the sensation of hollowness in the pelvis. While the traditional posture is just five breaths you can stay for up to fifty breaths to give your body the time and space to open.
