Something that is often a reoccurring problem is yo-yo’ing, whether that’s concerning dieting and pigging out on junk food too frequently between stages of being healthy, relationships if you hop from one toxic person to the next or addictions when you try to quit something but then find yourself failing and having to start over and over and over again. We are creatures of habit and often get stuck in the same toxic and unhealthy cycle, struggling to make progress because we lose all motivation and settle for mediocre  stagnation. Change is in fact a case of doing what we have never been able to do before, breaking the cycle once and for all by having a lifestyle intervention. Personally, during times of growth I choose to be alone rather than turn to other people and strangers for comfort because I know that the only person who can truly make the necessary differences to my life is me; whilst involving others is an outlet for emotion and support, it can easily lead to the same unhealthy scenarios because of morbid familiarity. Please never be afraid to spend time alone, find yourself, discover what makes you you and become healthy and happy from within.
