Yesterday afternoon I became a floof-ma (grandmother as my dog had babies) to four beautiful Pomchi boys which are a pomeranian chihuahua cross. These darling princes have kept me on my toes all day and night since, so I’m just about to have a nap after completing the night shift and a few too up feeds with them to help Missy out as four super hungry tummies are insatiable - they are definitely small but mighty! The pups are so incredibly tiny I’ve literally flooded my insta stories with pictures and videos and Mumma Missy and all babies are thankfully doing fine. Whilst I already have two children, 2 cats, 2 dogs and a rabbit, I am used to loving, caring, nursing and putting others needs before my own - but this is the first time that I’ve delivered puppies and they’re so incredibly sweet and tiny my heart is enormously overwhelmed with love! To truly recognise how fragile every life is is sobering; it is so incredible to create any life and I am absolutely humbled and blessed to have the love and commitment of my children and dear animals. Please never take another’s life for granted, listen to your voice of reason when you want to put yourself first but somebody vulnerable and more in need requires your help. When raising my babies, my pets and now these beautiful puppies I have always put the safety and well-being of others above that of my own - the feeling of loving and providing has fuelled me for a night of no sleep to make sure that Mumma and babies are all ok, now it’s time for a cheeky catnap as I sleep beside them with their full tummies and tiny button noses.
