I’ve been a single parent since they were babies and I’m so blessed to have my happy ever after with the three of us because my children have taught me the meaning of true love, commitment, unconditional kindness and self acceptance. My babies showed me the strength that I didn’t know I had, they taught me to be selfless and love another far more than myself and I would walk the world to keep them safe. They gave my life meaning and purpose and are the reason that I work so hard, push myself and get up everyday. They helped me to face my fears of being alone and vulnerable as a woman and instead made me fearless, a protector and provider. Because of my babies I can do anything and everything. I am both their mother and father, their comfort and love, happy place and home and I will always support their dreams and decisions. I am incredibly proud of how kind hearted, educated and creative my daughter is and amazed by how technologically minded my son is. I love how our home is always filled with giggles, laughter and singing and am blessed to have a heart warm and overflowing with true love. People always ask me why I’m happy not to be married - it’s because nobody has ever matched the genuine love of my children or measured up to their selflessness and pure souls.
