I’m literally daydreaming about getting away to somewhere hot and exotic once lockdown is over; so much so that I’m sure I can already smell coconut scented sun cream and taste the pornstar martinis from here! I’m more than ready for an adventure and love discovering new places whilst understanding different cultures. One of my favourite things to do on holiday is to walk barefoot on the beach, listen to the sound of the ocean, feel the sun on my skin and be close to nature that I’m yet to discover. I’m a nervous swimmer but in seawater I somehow feel like a dolphin and I’m literally unstoppable! My biggest aquatic triumph (after doing doughnuts on a jet ski) was swimming alongside a sea turtle in the Indian Ocean with just flippers and a snorkel a handful of years after doing a charity swim for an intensive care baby unit in the UK and literally trembling with fear doing 100 metres in a pool unassisted at the deep end. It’s amazing how times and circumstances change; how one day something that seemed almost impossible becomes your everyday achievement and ability. The more we push ourselves the more we know and the more we can grow in life - please never stop loving, learning and exploring our beautiful world.
