One of LA's oldest restaurants, @pacificdiningcar, which is almost 100 years old, has announced it will be auctioning off much of its furniture, artwork, and kitchen equipment. Social media fueled gossip about a permanent closure but ownership tells Eater they're shifting business models to uncooked steaks, rubs, and merchandise until they can potentially reopen for takeout, delivery, and dine-in.
