Few things are more satisfying than leaving the gym with an amazing arm pump!! ⁣

1️⃣ Cable Preacher Curls: Preacher curls are a great movement for building up the peak of the bicep. I like to throw in the cable variation in order to keep my bicep under constant tension for long periods of time, as I’ve found it as significantly helped with my bicep develop over the years. Notice how all of my reps are very smooth, slow and methodical. This is how you truly grow your arms. I try to feel every fiber from inner to outer, and top to bottom. Also, notice my body position- I have my feet away from the seat, and I am putting all my weight into pressing my elbows into the pad. This helps me stay strict with my form as my biceps get exhausted to keep the quality repetitions coming. ⁣

2️⃣ Standing Overhead Dumbell Exhaustion: if you aren’t incorporating these into your tricep work, I would highly advise that you do. Overhead extension work is great for building up the long head of the tricep. The long head is the biggest of the three heads, and plays a big part in developing the “horseshoe” look. When doing this movement, I really try and focus on using full range of motion- getting a quality stretch at the bottom and full extension at the top. Learning to use full range of motion will help maximize your reps and muscle development for the future! ⁣

I’ve said it many times before, but it’s not about the exercise itself, it’s about HOW you perform the exercise. Treat every workout like it’s your last! ⁣
