You’ve heard me say it many times before- it’s not about just doing a certain exercise, but it’s how you perform the exercise that matters. ⁣

Here, @Tomflynn14 and I did some bicep curls with our backs and triceps pinned up against a machine in order to eliminate any unwanted momentum. ⁣

What happens oftentimes when the biceps get exhausted during curls, is you will either compensate by leaning forward, or swinging and using momentum to get the weight up. ⁣

By preventing yourself from doing either of those things, you will perform much more slow and methodical repetitions, which will ultimately help the body part you are targeting grow. ⁣

Lose the idea that more weight on an exercise = bigger muscles. Focus and lock in on your mind-muscle connection and what you should be feeling, and then slowly increase your weights overtime. ⁣
