As beautiful as this setting is, you do NOT need a holiday to give yourself a rest or a break. Taking time for yourself can be as simple as creating a space in your home that is just for YOU or even giving yourself one day every week to SLEEP IN. The way we practise self care is individual and unique. For me, taking my 28 minutes to workout every day is "Kayla-time" haha. BUT as being a personal trainer is my JOB (which I looooove), I know that it's really important for me to step away occasionally and just switch off. Spending time with my family plays a HUGE part in this. When I am surrounded by family and people I love, that's when I know I can relax 🤗. #BBGCommunity, how do YOU practise self care? ⠀

Did becoming a mom give you new perspective/appreciation level for your own 28 minute workouts? For me, starting out, your program was incredible because 28 minutes was all my kid could manage playing by herself. That I could get a satisfying workout in 28 minutes meant everything to me in my first two years as a mom. Thank you!

Apart from working out I also do ashanga yoga which resets my body. I go for sea swims, even during winter, especially after a long run. And of course read a lot! That's my quality time with myself ?

Taking time to lay down in bed and read or spending all day on the couch with my bf watching movies and not feeling bad for being lazy. Gives me the recharge I need
