??HELLO ABS!!??

⇣ here’s a mini ab Q+A⇣

❓do you train abs?
I train my abs indirectly through various compound movements in the week. So many movements require core strength and stability, so I do train them this way. I ALSO train them directly to improve my core strength.

❓how often do you train abs?
I’ll train abs once a  week… if i don’t forget

❓do I have to train my abs more to get a 6 pack?
training your abs everyday will not give you a 6 pack. in order to see visible linings in your abdominal region, you need to lose fat in that area, which requires a caloric deficit. This can be achieved through your diet (i.e. lower you calories via carbohydrate and fat and maintain relatively high protein intake) and training (+ cardio if needed)

with that being said, here’s what I did on my last ab session? the burn was real friends ?

1️⃣Alternating straight leg crunches w/ dumbbell 1x10 per leg
2️⃣Side plank rotation w/ dumbbell 1x8 per side
3️⃣Spiderman plank on bosu ball 1 x 10 per side
4️⃣Alternating toe touches on bosu ball 1 x 10 per leg

?repeat 2-3 times if you’re up for it!?
