Or so I once thought ?

I thought positivity was a mumbo-jumbo-hype-yourself-up-for-no-good-cause mindset. I thought it would be a dismissal of adversity concealed with jaw-aching smiles, refusing to recognize both realism and hardship. And so, I figured pessimism would be far closer to reality as it refuses to depend on pixie dust and dreams. But you see, digging holes did not fill in the voids of my unease. I would only sink deeper.

Positivity is not oblivious.
It is a facilitator of hope. ?

Life’s circumstances can be both hard and true, but with a mindset that is entrenched in positivity, there is hope of progression, lessons, and a gratifying outcome. I believe the more we practice positivity, this frame of thinking becomes far more natural. It contradicts pessimism and its cyclic paralysation, and instead gives us a choice to live beyond all suffering. ?
